meet frank scott, jr.

Frank Scott, Jr. is the 73rd Mayor of Little Rock, a lifelong resident of our city, and the first popularly elected African American mayor in Little Rock's history. Since taking office in 2019, he has focused on one mission: bringing people together to build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous capital city for everyone.

As Mayor, Frank has led efforts to grow Little Rock's economy, strengthen public safety, improve quality of life, and expand opportunity across every neighborhood. Under his leadership, the city has helped create more than 11,000 jobs, welcomed major new investments and employers, and continued positioning Little Rock as a leading city in the South for growth and innovation.

Frank believes progress should reach every corner of Little Rock. That's why his administration has invested in neighborhood revitalization, educational opportunities for students, infrastructure improvements, housing, parks, and initiatives that help residents and small businesses thrive. His focus has always been on ensuring that every family, in every ZIP code, has the opportunity to succeed.

Before serving as Mayor, Frank built a career rooted in public service and community leadership. He served in the administration of Governor Mike Beebe, worked as a community banker helping local businesses grow, served on the Port of Little Rock Board of Directors, and represented Arkansans on the Arkansas Highway Commission. He also serves nationally through leadership roles that help shape disaster preparedness, economic development, and municipal policy.

Raised in Southwest Little Rock and still proud to call it home, Frank has spent his life giving back to the city that invested in him. As a husband, father, mentor, associate pastor, and public servant, he believes leadership is about service, results, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Today, Frank Scott, Jr. is running for re-election because he knows the work isn't finished. Together, we can build on the progress we've made, create more opportunities for families and businesses, strengthen our neighborhoods, and continue moving Little Rock forward.
