Early Voting

Monday Oct 19 – Monday Nov 2, 2026

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | No Sundays.

NOTE: Nov. 2nd is the last day to early vote, and will occur only at ONE location, the Pulaski County Regional Building. Polls will close one hour early at 5pm.

Election Day

When & Where to Vote

  • Hours: Polling sites across Arkansas are open on Election Day from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • Locations: Your assigned polling place is determined by your residential address and set by your county's election commission. You can look up your exact polling location at VoterView.org or check your voter registration card

What to Expect at the Polling Place

  1. Check-In: An election worker will ask you to state your full name, current address, and date of birth.

  2. Photo ID: You will be asked to present an approved form of photo identification.

  3. Sign-In: You will sign the precinct registration list before receiving your ballot or being directed to a voting machine.

  4. Casting Your Ballot: You go into a private voting booth to cast your vote (a 5-minute time limit applies).

Key Rules & Voting Safeguards

  • Address Changes (Fail-Safe Voting): If you moved within your county, you can update your address and vote at your new precinct on Election Day.

  • Provisional Ballots: If your name doesn't appear on the registration roster or you lack valid ID, you can cast a provisional ballot after signing an affirmation of eligibility. You will receive instructions on how to track whether your vote was counted.

  • Preventing Overvotes: Marking multiple candidates in a single race invalidates that vote. If you make a mistake on a paper ballot, ask a poll worker for a replacement before submitting it.
