Little Rock succeeds when every resident has the opportunity to thrive. Mayor Scott led by example by enacting 12 weeks of paid parental leave for city workers, expanding community schools, and opening our state-of-the-art Senior Center at University Park. The Little Rock 2030 plan deepens this commitment by expanding early childhood education, helping local families save for college, and keeping senior citizens active and supported.

A City Where Every Generation Can Thrive

Expanded Vision

Community School Expansion: Growing our community school network past its current 8 locations in the Little Rock School District to bring academic tutors, meals, and health resources directly into neighborhood schools.

Early Childhood & 529 College Savings: Opening new early childhood education slots for toddlers and launching 529 college savings accounts for LRSD elementary students.

Paid Family Leave Advocacy: Encouraging private employers across Little Rock to adopt the city's 12-week paid parental leave standard.

Senior Care & Age-Friendly Local Businesses: Delivering full, active programming at the Senior Center and partnering with local businesses to secure barrier-free "Age-Friendly" certifications.
